Ashlyn Biedebach, MSN, CNM

A proud native of North Texas, Ashlyn Biedebach, MSN, CNM grew up in McKinney and returned to this vibrant community in 2018. She joined the AMFW practice as a CNM in 2024, and is thrilled to continue providing compassionate, evidence-based care

to the community she’s loved all of her life.

Ashlyn has always been drawn to the world of birth and women’s health. Her parents took notice of her interest, and at 15 years old, suggested she shadow their friend, a local midwife and birth center owner, Dr. Amy Giles at Allen Birthing Center. This experience showed her the profound impact of midwifery care, inspiring her to pursue a career as a Certified Nurse-Midwife.

Ashlyn earned her BSN from Texas A&M University, and began her nursing career in DFW area birthing centers. She began her own business as a birth doula, where she developed a deep appreciation for physiologic birth. While enrolled in Texas Tech University’s nurse-midwifery program, working with hospital-based midwives deepened her commitment to holistic care and meaningful client relationships in every setting. Upon graduation in 2022, she practiced as a CNM at a high-volume birth center, which helped shape her into the midwife she is today.

Ashlyn finds joy in empowering women to discover their innate strength during childbirth. Whether it’s a serene birth without interruptions, or a supportive environment that helps parents navigate their journey, recognizing individual needs can transform the birth experience into a powerful and empowering event. She is dedicated to improving outcomes for families in Texas while fostering positive birth experiences.

When she’s not working with families, she cherishes time with her own children, born at Allen Midwifery & Family Wellness, her husband Jacob, and their cat Lucy. They enjoy exploring Dallas, schooling their children and creating memories.
