Caty Nixon, MSN, CNM

Caty Nixon, MSN, CNM, joyfully joined Allen Midwifery & Family Wellness in 2025 after spending more than 12 years caring for families across the North Dallas community as a labor and delivery nurse. During her time in the hospital setting, she had the privilege of working closely alongside Allen Midwifery’s own, Dr. Amy Giles—an experience that left a lasting impression. Through those years, Caty felt a growing pull toward a more personal, relationship-centered approach to care, ultimately leading her to pursue midwifery.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2013, and in the midst of raising her own family, returned to Texas Tech to complete her Master of Science in Nursing in Nurse-Midwifery in 2024—proving that a calling doesn’t wait for “perfect timing.”

Caty feels deeply honored to walk with women and families through some of the most meaningful, life-changing moments they will ever experience. She is passionate about creating a space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported—where care is not only skilled and safe, but also deeply personal and encouraging.

Outside of the birth center, Caty treasures time with her family. She and her husband, Jordan, stay busy keeping up with their two energetic boys and sweet baby girl, soaking in every moment of this joyful and full season of life.
